os.supports_dir_fd A Set object indicating which functions in the os module permit use of their dir_fd parameter. Different platforms provide different functionality, and an option that might work on one might be unsupported on another. os.supports_bytes_environ True if the native OS type of the environment is bytes (eg. False on Windows). New in version 3.2.

os.strerror(code) Return the error message corresponding to the error code in code. On platforms where strerror() returns NULL when given an unknown error number, ValueError is raised.
