Thread:set Available since LÖVE 0.8.0 and removed in LÖVE 0.9.0 It has been moved to the Channel API. Sets a value in the message box of the thread. The name of the message can be any string. The value of the message can be a boolean, string, number or a LÖVE userdata. Foreign userdata (Lua's files, LuaSocket, ...), functions or tables are not supported. Thread:kill

Thread:kill Available since LÖVE 0.7.0 and removed in LÖVE 0.8.0 This method is not supported in earlier or later versions. Forcefully terminate the thread. This function terminates the thread wherever it is, which is capable of locking the game, or doing anything evil for that matter, its use is strongly discouraged.
