Parameters:
fmt
The message formatter
pattern
The pattern string to use in this message formatter. The pattern uses an 'apostrophe-friendly' syntax; it is run through » umsg_autoQuoteApostrophe before being interpreted.
Returns:
Returns TRUE
on success or FALSE
on failure.
