Selects all elements of type image.
:image
is equivalent to [type="image"]
- Because
:image
is a jQuery extension and not part of the CSS specification, queries using:image
cannot take advantage of the performance boost provided by the native DOMquerySelectorAll()
method. For better performance in modern browsers, use[type="image"]
instead.
jQuery( ":image" )
version added: 1.0
Examples:
Finds all image inputs.
