path.basename()

path.basename(p[, ext])

Return the last portion of a path. Similar to the Unix basename command.

Example:

path.basename('/foo/bar/baz/asdf/quux.html')
// returns 'quux.html'

path.basename('/foo/bar/baz/asdf/quux.html', '.html')
// returns 'quux'
